Just a quick update: I got a placement in my Insurance university which is the University of Essex, alhamdulillah. :D
We were in a middle of our BTN camp when the results were out, which is a half-blessing-half-curse kind of situation. Blessing because we were there together, having each others' backs. Curse because we were there together, so we'd know everyone's results. Lol.
I initially did not want to check my results on that day. It was a Thursday and we will be having our BTN test the next day. I didn't want my results to get in the way, because knowing myself, I would think about my results all the time.
I made a promise with Shaz that we would check our results the next day, but that evening she came to me crying. I honestly thought she already checked her results, but it turned out that she was just overwhelmed with what was going on around us (everyone checking their results, some with happy faces, some not etc). She said her mother wanted to know her results, so she was asking for my permission because she didn't want to break our promise.
Haih la, Shaz. :')
I told her it's okay, and apologised too because that was probably a stupid promise lol. It was just a small matter so I wouldn't mind if she checked her results anyway.
After she checked hers, I had this feeling inside me that I wanted to check mine too. Punyalah gagah tak nak check, until Ainaa told me, "Check jelah, nanti kau tahu jugak".
So yeah I checked straight away. I didn't get my Firm university which is the University of Warwick. To be really honest, I was disappointed. Of course I was, it was pretty much my dream uni.
But at the same time I kind of expected that I'll be rejected, that I couldn't make it.
Told my parents about it and all my dad ever cared was my grades, of course. My Economics grade, to be specific because that's the only subject 'yang cacat' on my results slip lol. But what to do. *sigh* I did try my best.
I always believe in Allah's plan for me. I believe there's always a silver lining within all of this. But it's not until a few days ago that I truly believe in Allah's plan.
I now do believe that Warwick is not the right uni for me. It's too high, I can't get a grasp of it, not even close. Essex is more suitable because it's just right. It's there, right in front of me. Might as well I grab it before it's gone.
Mixed feelings, definitely, but I also cannot wait to know what's in stores for me in the UK. :)
Wish me luck (I'll be having my visa appointment next week) and please pray for all my friends. May Allah ease our affairs, wherever we are. :)
Hanani x

Life So Far
Assalamualaikum, people.
How are you guys doing? Sorry for not updating. Been busy with A Levels. Not that busy, I mean, at least I'm not, and I regret that.
So I'm currently taking my AS exam. What is AS, you may be wondering? It's hard to explain, really. It even took me like, almost a semester to actually understand what AS really is. ^^' Briefly, AS is the half of A Levels.
I have five papers altogether for my AS - Economics Unit 1 and 2, Accounting Unit 1, Core Mathematics C12 and Statistics S1.
I probably have mentioned before (or not) that I was struggling with Economics, and I still am.
Thankfully, I've found my study group buddies (wait a minute, that sounds wrong, but I don't know what else to replace those words. Ahh faham2 lah kan.)
It all started when Atikah had a discussion with her friends, Amir and Amalin, at the library. I followed along because I wanted to study as well (although I rarely study at the library - the quietness and coldness make me want to sleep more rather than study, but the probability of sleeping if I stayed at Akasia for the whole day is higher, so might as well study at the library). Ainaa came with us too, so we sat in one table and Atikah and her friends in the table next to us. They were revising Economics, and I can hear Amir giving out tips and techniques on how to answer the questions. I was like, 'Nak tahu jugakkkkkkkk' and so I was eavesdropping. Haha.
Hanani and shyness cannot be separated, so yes of course I was shy to join them as I don't know Amir that much (never talked to him before), Atikah and Amalin actually had to drag me to sit with them. Haha.
So anyway, that is how our little study group started, later joined by Hanna, Aisyah (most of the time), Amani and our latest addition, Zethy. Our spot in the library is at the top floor (because not many students study there - lagi sikit orang, lagi kami suka haha).
Honestly, I'm so thankful for these guys, for our study group. It helped me a lot, especially in Economics (walaupun exam macam hmmmm tak sempat nak jawab habis jugak hmmm) but at least now I know what to write for my evaluation, and how to answer on specific topics.
And the best part is we're planning to continue to study together until A2 inshaAllah. :))
So back to my AS, I only have one paper left, Statistics, which is in two weeks. Haha. Exactly the main reason why I'm lying and relaxing on my bed, and typing this long blog post, because I don't know what else to do. Atikah is currently watching a movie (Hindustan, of course), Ainaa is studying for her Biology paper tomorrow, and Amani is at her sister's house, she's going back to Kedah tomorrow.
Man, can't believe I'm about to end my second semester, how time flies. I can still remember the time when I typed my end-of-first-semester post. Those were the times. *sigh* And when my next semester comes, I'll become the senior - yikes.
Oh, that reminds me. My housemates and I (minus Amani) applied to be PMs (Pemimpin Mahasiswa) for the orientation of Intec's new students. Told Mum about it and all she said was, 'Awak jangan nak buat muka masam sangat, senyum sikit'. I was like, 'Ye, tahu2'.
I've never actually realised how 'masam' my face looks like, until the other day (I think this happened about a month ago). I was in the bus, wanted to go back to Akasia and I was sitting alone. A guy (I don't know which programme he is from, but he didn't look familiar) got on the bus and I looked at him, he was looking at me too. He walked until my row but he didn't sit. The bus was almost full, so I assumed he wanted to take the empty seat next to me, but he didn't. And then I heard a girl talked to him (must be his classmate or something), saying things like 'Duduk jelah'. So obviously he didn't want to sit next to me because of my 'angry' look (I was also having kind of a bad mood on that day, I don't know why, it comes and goes) and he ended up standing, I think, or sitting at the back row (I didn't turn back to look so I didn't know).
Oh wow, what a post. Hahaha nampak sangat rindu nak menulis. :P Okay, peeps, sorry for the extremely long post, I'll update soon, I hope.
Good night and sweet dreams! (Or good morning as it's already 1. Haha.)

To The Max
Assalamualaikum and Happy Eid ul Adha, people!
Writing this post means - yes, I'm back at home, bebeh!
I've holiday for a week, which is suchhhhhhhhhhh a relieve. Eventhough we have a few tests left and the huge final exam coming up in the end of October, we really really need this.
Kesian kat budak ADFP, cuti sampai Isnin je, tapi korang dah cuti seminggu hari tu aci ah. lol
Bukti stress aku - muka aku dah naik macam-macam. And yes, that means scars.
My mum was very surprised and she was looking at my face many, many times because she couldn't believe what a disaster my face has become.
But my face isn't the topic right now.
My first semester is ending soon, with only a month to go. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? I'M GOING TO END MY FIRST SEMESTER? WHAT?!
But yeah, that's happening alright. I brought up this topic with my housemates the other day, and we talked about what happened in the very first day until today. We ended up sleeping at 2 in the morning, and yes, my class started at 8 on that day. Hehe.
After about four [?] months studying at INTEC, I'm beginning to love my class. I know, I know, it takes time for me to actually love this class, while everyone else already love their classes like, two months? Heh.
So I'm just wanna tell ya guys, that I love my Sedbergh class. To the max. How do I know that? Because I found myself smiling just by looking at the photos we took together.
So yeah. Nak beritahu tu je. lol
Ok, tu je. Catch ya later!

Till We Meet Again
Assalamualaikum.
I was texting and WhatsApp-ing my ex-classmates to wish them luck for today's registration as a lot of them are going to be Asasi Sains students at UiTM Puncak Alam when I feel like typing this post.
I know this is late, but still.
Dear 5AT 2013,
I know I don't know you guys as much as everyone else, I know I'm quiet pretty much all the time, I know I don't have any personal pictures with all of you, but still, you were my classmates for the whole year [some of you two years] so I'd like to thank you for everything we had together, for all the beautiful memories, for all the laughter we share. I love you guys [even though I look like I don't but yeah].
I still can't believe the fact that we've finished secondary school and about to enter university life. We're going to split to our own paths, our choices of courses. I pray that all of us will get amazing results and will be succeed in our careers in the future.
I'll see you guys again if there's a reunion! [Hopefully I'll be able to come. ._.]
